Riverwood offers a way to honor mothers

At Riverwood Healthcare Birthing Center, our team of caregivers ensures every new baby and mother has the best experience possible, providing the tender, compassionate care they need.

Technology plays a key role in the model of care, and today, we have the opportunity to expand our Riverwood Birthing Center resources with a new Panda Care Infant Warmer and the Wellness Network.

The Panda Infant Warmer wraps newborn babies in direct, comfortable heat while they are weighed, dried, measured, bathed, and assessed for health concerns—helping babies transition during the precious moments after birth.

The Wellness Network helps our new moms, and their partners, prepare to take baby home with the on-demand education videos highlighting essential information, including breastfeeding support, signs of postpartum anxiety and depression, and other tips.

This Mother’s Day, you can help enhance care for newborns and their amazing mothers.

“We invite you to honor a mother in your life with a gift to support the Riverwood Birthing Center and all the mothers and babies who rely on us,” said Katie Nelson, Riverwood Foundation Director. “We’ll send your honoree a Mother’s Day card recognizing your generous donation.”

To make your donation use our secure online giving form. Or mail your donation to Riverwood Foundation, 200 Bunker Hill Drive, Aitkin, MN 56431. Give us your honoree’s name and address and any message you want to include.
