Riverwood Healthcare Community Auxiliary is committed to the support of Riverwood Healthcare Center through volunteer services, fundraising and the promotion of a positive image to the community. Membership

fundraisers
The Auxiliary has several important fundraisers during the year including Lights of Love, quilt raffle, sheet sale, plant sale, scrub sale, bake sale and book sales.

Since 1984, the Riverwood Auxiliary has annually honored and memorialized the loved ones of area residents with the Lights of Love Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The tree will be on display in the hospital lobbies beginning November 18. The annual ceremony and “flipping of the switch” by the Lights of Love honorary chairperson Carla Hakes will take place on Sunday, November 24 at 1pm in the Aitkin Clinic lobby.
Names of loved ones for whom lights have been purchased will be listed on a scroll placed next to the tree until the end of the year. Lights that decorate the Christmas tree can be purchased for a minimum donation of $5 in honor or in memory of someone.
To make a donation to purchase a light, print the LIGHTS OF LOVE form. Donation forms are also available at Riverwood in the lobby and Gift Shop. Funds raised will be used to fulfill the Auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of the community.
