Riverwood Healthcare is proud to announce that Urologist Brandon Reynolds, MD, has been designated as a UroLift™ System Center of Excellence physician. Dr. Reynolds is the only urologist north of the Twin Cities to earn this unique distinction.
This designation is awarded to physicians who have attained advanced training with the UroLift™ System, which offers rapid relief for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms, which commonly cause men to experience frequent and urgent urination. BPH, enlarged prostate, is a common condition among older men, affecting 40 percent of men in their 50’s and 70 percent of men in their 60’s.
Dr. Reynolds comments, “Center of Excellence designation is a reassurance to our patients that we perform a lot of procedures. Riverwood is one of the top-tier facilities in the nation where they’ll get the best outcome for their procedure.”
Practicing at Riverwood since 2020, Dr. Reynolds achieved another designation last year as a Medtronic InterStim™ Center of Excellence physician. InterStim™ is a minimally invasive procedure for treating overactive bladder, urge incontinence, and fecal incontinence. Dr. Reynolds adds, “We are only one of three practices in the state of Minnesota that are designated Center of Excellence for InterStim®.”
