Breann Goedken, RN, Diabetes Care & Education Nurse
Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to announce Breann Goedken has moved into the position of diabetes care and education nurse.
With the completion of her registered nurse degree from Central Lakes College, Goedken is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree through Western Governors University. She has previous experience working in medical/surgical inpatient care and home health care.
Goedken comments, “I chose to become a nurse after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 20. My goal was to become a diabetes care and education specialist so I can help patients who are going through a similar experience as I have gone through.”
Goedken enjoys traveling and camping with her husband, Tyler, and their two dogs Josie and Maisy. The couple is expecting their first child in March.
