OB/GYN physician gains board certification

Christina Kramer, MD, Obstetrician/Gynecologist

In December, Obstetrician/Gynecologist Christina Kramer, M.D., became Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, demonstrating her exceptional knowledge, experience and skills to provide quality healthcare.

To become Board certified, Dr. Kramer passed a written test that demonstrates she has obtained the special knowledge and skills required for medical and surgical care of women. She also showed experience in treating women’s health care and underwent an oral examination by a team of well-respected national experts. The exam tested Dr. Kramer’s skills, knowledge and ability to treat different conditions.

Dr. Kramer has practiced at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Riverwood Healthcare in Aitkin since August 2014. She is originally from Maple Plain and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. She completed her residency in New York at the University of Buffalo Sisters of Charity Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology. She and her husband, Ryan, have three daughters.
