Deb Gruber, Human Resources Director
Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Deb Gruber as its new director of Human Resources.
In this key leadership role, Gruber will plan, lead, and coordinate the activities of Riverwood’s Human Resources department—ensuring legal compliance, fostering a positive work culture, and aligning HR strategy with the organization’s overall mission and goals. She will also serve as a member of the management team, partnering with facility leadership to support staff development and organizational success.
Gruber brings a wealth of leadership experience to the role. Since 2021, she has served as a human resources director in the private sector. Prior to that, she dedicated 13 years to Morrison County as County Administrator and Director of Human Resources. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. Cloud State University.
Gruber is passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture. “I enjoy working with people in every facet of employment,” she said. “Employees are the heart of any organization. I thrive on helping individuals reach their career goals to ensure they are engaged, fulfilled, and operating at their full potential. Outside of work, Gruber enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors—whether golfing, biking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, or relaxing with family and friends at home in Pierz or at their cabin in the Brainerd Lakes area.
