Riverwood Healthcare Center is excited to welcome Dr. Robin Muller, family medicine physician, to its Aitkin clinic. Dr. Muller provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including obstetric services.
In addition to the full spectrum of family medicine, Dr. Muller’s special interests include women’s health and obstetrics, opioid use disorder and buprenorphine management, alcohol use disorder, and trigger point and joint injections for pain relief.
Dr. Muller joins Riverwood after more than four years at a CentraCare primary care clinic in Redwood Falls, Minn. Prior to her residency, she spent a year practicing general medicine at a small hospital in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
A native of Charleston, S.C., Dr. Muller earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, where she also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She completed a Rural Family Medicine Residency at West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va.
Dr. Muller shares her approach to medical care, “I strive to stay up to date with the latest medical recommendations while tailoring care to each patient’s unique values and needs.”
She was drawn to Minnesota for its opportunities in full-spectrum family medicine and rural health care. “I chose to stay because I’ve grown to love the winters—and there are so many great museums, organizations, restaurants, and places to explore,” she adds.
Dr. Muller and her partner, Mitch Zimmerman, share their home with three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and attending the Minnesota State Fair.
Patients can schedule appointments with Dr. Muller online through MyChart or at www.riverwoodhealthcare.org or by calling Riverwood’s appointment line at 218-927-2157.
