Riverwood Healthcare Center is proud to announce it has been honored with the 2025 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Patient Perspective by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. This recognition was announced in conjunction with National Rural Health Day, which celebrates the vital role of rural hospitals in delivering high-quality care to their communities.
The Performance Leadership Awards spotlight rural hospitals that rank in the top quartile nationally (75th percentile or above) in key areas of performance, including Quality, Outcomes, and Patient Perspective.

The awards are based on the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive and objective framework used to assess rural hospital performance. INDEX benchmarks are widely utilized by rural hospitals, health systems, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to measure performance across multiple operational and financial areas.
