More Good Days, Together

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year’s theme, “More Good Days, Together,” invites us to reflect on what it means to have a good day and how we can create more of them.

A good day doesn’t have to be perfect. It might be doing something that brings you joy, sharing a laugh with someone you love, or feeling a moment of calm on a busy day. Sometimes, it simply means getting through. Wherever you’re at, you deserve care and support.

There’s no single formula for mental health, but small, consistent habits can help:

  • Keeping a consistent sleep schedule
  • Moving your body in ways that feel doable
  • Eating regular meals and staying hydrated
  • Taking breaks from screens and social media
  • Checking in with someone you trust

Therapy can also be an important part of mental health care. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply want extra support, talking with a mental health professional can help you build tools for coping, resilience, and long term well-being.

At Riverwood Healthcare Center, behavioral health is integrated into primary care because we know mental and physical health are deeply connected. Our care teams work together to support the healthiest version of you—mind and body. Behavioral health services are available virtually or in-person at our Aitkin and McGregor clinics. To schedule an appointment or learn more, call (218) 394-2490 or visit our Integrated Behavioral Health page.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember you don’t have to face challenges alone. With understanding and care, we can all work toward more good days—together.
