Riverwood Foundation Charity Golf Event Success

Riverwood Foundation is thrilled to announce that its annual charity golf tournament was a tremendous success, raising $36,000 to support the Riverwood Cancer Care Fund.

The event held at Minnesota National Golf Course on July 11th, welcomed 100 golfers to enjoy a beautiful day on the course with family, friends and colleagues.  Golfers competed in a highly competitive best-dressed contest, cooler chipping and untraditional putting contests.  The first-placed team was the CMDI team – Chad Cooper, Brad Oothoudt, Krist Oothoudt and Jeff Udy.  In a very close second-place was the Paulbeck’s Market team – Drew Paulbeck, Seth Parkin, Hunter Oelschlager and Finn Fogerty. The best dressed competition was narrowly won by the Regional Diagnostic Radiology team with their pink flamingo theme.

Funds raised will provide vital support for local cancer patients, helping ensure they receive high-quality care and resources close to home. “We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community,” said Tanya Pietz, Foundation Director  “This event reflects the heart of what we do—rallying together to make a real difference for those facing cancer.”

We are incredibly grateful to the golfers, volunteers, generous sponsors, and staff at MN National Golf Club and Resort for making this year’s event a huge success! Special thanks to our Major Sponsors: Paulbeck’s Market, DSGW Architecture and American Peat Technology.  Your continued support brings hope and healing to those in need.
