Riverwood is introducing a Cancer Support Group to provide a welcoming space for individuals who are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or navigating survivorship.
The group meets from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month in Conference Room C/D at Riverwood Healthcare Center, 200 Bunker Hill Drive, Aitkin.
Led by Kirstiane Bilyeu, behavioral health therapist, and Lori Gross, Oncology nurse navigator, this monthly gathering offers meaningful conversation, encouragement, and support in a caring environment.
“Our goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where people can share their experiences, ask questions, and feel supported throughout their cancer journey,” said Gross. “Support can make a tremendous difference in coping and healing.”
The Cancer Support Group is open to patients who have or have had cancer. Registration is encouraged.
