Katie Pudas, Radiology Manager
Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to introduce Katie Pudas as the new Radiology Department manager.
Pudas, former radiology technologist who served in the role of supervisor of the department for the past four of five years at Riverwood, manages the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
With 10 years of experience in the radiology field, Pudas has worked at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd; DMS Health Technologies (Mobile CT), Fargo, N.D.; and Mercy Hospital in Valley City, N.D.
Pudas earned her associate degree in Radiologic Technology at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes, Minn. She holds American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT) certifications in Radiology, CT, DEXA and mammography.
“I enjoy working in radiology because I have the opportunity to work in multiple modalities and get to meet and help numerous patients throughout the day,” Pudas said. “My day is never the same, and I’m constantly learning and experiencing new things. Radiology is a field that is constantly evolving, and it is amazing to see the new technology.”
Pudas and husband, Corey, have two daughters, Gemma, 6, and Ashlyn, 2. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, 4-wheeling, fishing, floating down the river and games nights.
