Riverwood Healthcare Center will host a seminar called “Solutions to Hip, Knee or Shoulder Pain” at the Aitkin hospital in conference room C/ D on Tues., Oct. 24, 12 to 1 p.m. The same program will be offered again on Thurs., Nov. 9, 6 to 7 p.m.
This program will be presented by Dr. Jonathan Herseth, orthopaedic surgeon, and Adam English, orthopaedic joint coordinator and nurse practitioner, both with Minnesota Center for Orthopaedics in Aitkin and Crosby. Jenn Klee, physical therapist at Riverwood, will present information on how rehabilitation services can help before and after surgery.
Dr. Herseth uses both surgical and nonsurgical means to diagnose and treat ailments affecting muscles, bones and joints, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders. He is fellowship trained in orthopaedic surgery for sports-related injuries. He practices with Dr. Erik Severson, orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacements, and Dr. Susan Moen, orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating hand, wrist and elbow conditions.
