Riverwood Healthcare Center and Foundation are pleased to announce $40,000 was raised to help support the infusion center during the 2021 golf charity event held at Minnesota National Golf Course, McGregor. The 18-hole golf event was held on July 16 and presented by Kraus-Anderson Construction Company.

This year 132 golfers gathered to enjoy a delightful Minnesota day filled with sunny skies and warm temperatures to tee up a perfect day of golf with family, friends and colleagues. Golfers kicked off the day with a boxed lunch and ended the day with prizes and a delicious buffet dinner in the dining room. Little Round Still joined the golfers on Hole #1 for refreshments.

The first-place prize winner was the Meyer team of Mark, Frank, Louie and Will with a score of 16 under. Second place team went to the Garrison Commercial Club team coming in at 15 under and third place with a score of 14 under went to Casey Johnson, Mitch Graham, Ryan Kleven and Shawn Kleven.

Many thanks to Minnesota National Golf Course, the many wonderful volunteers it takes to host an event like this and to the major sponsors Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, Lundberg Plumbing & Heating, Riverwood Auxiliary, Dan & Joanne Lastavich, and Mille Lacs Electric Cooperative.

“We are so thankful for the outpouring of support. Golfers, volunteers and donors are all part of what made this year’s event such an outstanding success. Since the mid-90’s this event has brought in over $500,000 to support patient care at Riverwood, and we are incredibly grateful for the support of the community,” states Katie Nelson, Riverwood Foundation director.

We look forward to another successful event in 2022!
