Riverwood welcomes nurse practitioner Andrea Wippler

Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Andrea Wippler, FNP-BC, to its Family Medicine team in Aitkin.

Wippler joins the team as a core clinical partner, supporting patient care through appropriate visits, in‑basket management, preventive health services, and chronic disease management.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University. Her diverse clinical background includes experience in ICU, medical–surgical care, and charge nurse roles at St. Gabriel’s Health, along with more than two years providing care in a walk‑in clinic setting.

“I strongly believe in providing compassionate care to the whole person—honoring each individual’s personal beliefs and values—while emphasizing the importance of preventive medicine,” Wippler says of her approach to patient care.

Dan Schletty, Director of Ambulatory Services, shared his enthusiasm for the addition to the team. “Andrea brings a valuable blend of clinical skill, compassion, and commitment to patient-centered care. Her broad experience and dedication to preventive health will strengthen our Family Medicine team and enhance the experience for the patients and families we serve.”

Outside of work, Wippler enjoys traveling, crafting, reading, baking, hunting and fishing, and taking her dogs for walks in the park.
