Nurse anesthetist joins Riverwood

Holly Frischmon, CRNA

Holly Frischmon, a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA), has joined Riverwood Healthcare Center’s surgical services provider team.

Earning a bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a minor in Biology from the College of St. Scholastica, Frischmon achieved her registered nurse license soon after graduation. She also completed a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Mount Marty University in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Frischmon worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis for two years. She went on to complete clinical training for her anesthesia degree at St. Cloud Hospital, Sanford Worthington Medical Center, Marshall Avera Hospital, and Hibbing Fairview Hospital.

Frischmon describes her personal approach to medical care: “My guiding principles in life and at work are to be honest, respectful, thoughtful, and caring. I enjoy teamwork and strive to work hard for the team and our patients every day.”

Holly Frischmon and her husband, Andrew, are expecting their first baby in October. She enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, biking and playing with their dog, Echo.
