Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to welcome Kylie Mead, PA-C, to its Same Day Clinic team, further expanding access to timely, high-quality care for patients throughout the region.
Mead joins Riverwood with experience in emergency medicine, having served as a physician assistant at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN, and Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. Her clinical background equips her to deliver efficient, responsive care for patients with urgent health concerns.
Mead earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Catherine University in 2023. She completed her undergraduate education at Augsburg University, graduating in 2020 with a degree in biology and minors in chemistry and psychology.
She is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
“When patients come to the Same Day Clinic, they’re often not feeling their best. My goal is to listen, provide answers and help them get back to the activities and people that matter most to them,” said Mead.
With her experience and patient-centered approach, Mead is a valued addition to Riverwood’s growing team of providers.
“Kylie brings valuable emergency medicine experience and a passion for patient care that aligns with Riverwood’s mission,” said Dan Schletty, director of ambulatory services. “We are excited to welcome her to our Same Day Clinic team and the Riverwood community.”
Originally from the Twin Cities area, Mead is looking forward to putting down roots in the region. She and her husband, son, and two dogs are excited to enjoy all the area has to offer—especially biking, running and outdoor recreation.
