Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to announce that Tara Wichterman, PharmD, has been named Manager of its Garrison Pharmacy.
Wichterman brings a strong background in pharmacy care and a commitment to patient-centered service. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Pacific University School of Pharmacy in Hillsboro, Oregon, and has been a valued member of the Riverwood team for the past five years. Prior to joining Riverwood, she gained seven years of experience in retail pharmacy.
In her new role, Wichterman will oversee daily pharmacy operations, support staff development, and ensure patients receive safe, high-quality, and personalized care.
“My philosophy of care is centered on building trusting partnerships with each patient,” said Wichterman. “I’m committed to ensuring individuals feel informed, confident, and empowered to manage their health.”

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her husband of 20 years and their dogs.
