Riverwood Healthcare Center was recognized as a winner of the 2025 Population Health Pioneer Awards, presented by Wellvana. Each year, health care organizations and provider partners are honored for their exemplary work and innovative approaches in value-based care to improve quality of care for their patients and community.
As the Community of the Year recipient, Riverwood is dedicated to prioritizing patient health above all else to make primary care life-changing, one patient at a time.
Riverwood CEO Ken Westman comments, “We are honored to receive Wellvana’s Pioneer Award and to be publicly recognized among other leaders dedicated to population health care. Riverwood has completed a year of exceptional performance and remains committed to more accountable care to better serve our patients.”
He adds, “Many thanks to our ACO Champions, Dr. Tim Arnold, chief medical information officer; Dan Schletty, director of ambulatory services; our clinic staff team members and the interdisciplinary team that has worked so hard, together to improve outcomes for patients we serve.”
The award will be presented at the 10th Annual Accountable Care Symposium held in Orlando, Florida, April 16-17. For more information about the Pioneer Awards and this year’s award recipients, please visit the symposium website at https://wellvana.com/accountable-care-symposium
