Riverwood Healthcare Center Announces Dr. Brandon Reynolds as New Chief of Surgery

Riverwood Healthcare Center is proud to announce that Brandon Reynolds, MD, board-certified urologist, has been named Chief of Surgery. In this leadership role, Dr. Reynolds will oversee surgical services across Riverwood, working closely with clinical teams to support excellence in patient care, safety, surgical outcomes and innovation.

A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Reynolds has earned multiple distinctions for his advanced training, exceptional outcomes, and commitment to innovation. He was previously designated a Medtronic InterStim™ Center of Excellence physician, recognizing urologists with extensive expertise in neuromodulation therapy for incontinence. In the past year, Dr. Reynolds became the only urologist north of the Twin Cities designated a UroLift™ System Center of Excellence physician, further highlighting his proficiency in treating prostate enlargement. Most recently, Dr. Reynolds is leading the entire nation in completed Altaviva™ cases for urge urinary incontinence.

Dr. Reynolds received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He went on to complete an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, one of the nation’s leading training programs.
