Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to welcome Physician Assistant Dayelise (Daya) Fleigle to the orthopaedic care team in Aitkin.
Fleigle joins Physician Assistant Erin Mason and Nurse Practitioner Jeff Temple in seeing patients at Riverwood’s specialty clinic, Monday through Friday. The team collaborates closely with Dr. Erik Severson, Dr. Jeffrey Klassen, and Dr. Susan Moen—orthopaedic surgeons who bring advanced fellowship training and extensive experience in orthopaedic surgery.
Fleigle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from The College of St. Scholastica and a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from George Fox University in Oregon. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science degree.
Her diverse health care experience includes roles as a personal care assistant, medical scribe, and hospice volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. “I listen to the needs of my patients and provide high-quality, patient-centered care,” Fleigle says of her approach to medicine.
Originally from Coleraine, Fleigle enjoys an active lifestyle. In her free time, she loves hiking, adventuring outdoors, playing the flute, singing, and spending time with her husband, Dan, and their young daughter, Adayla. As a teen, she participated in ballet as well as track and field events, including hurdles, sprints, and pole vaults.
