MyChart is a secure means for patients to access parts of their health records through a web browser and cellphone apps. Allina and OCHIN are hosts of the health records system. By switching to OCHIN from Allina, Riverwood patients will receive enhanced services for an exceptional patient experience.
Open the MyChart app and select “Messages” to send a message to your provider. Select “Medical Advice” to ask your provider a question or “Customer Service” for questions about billing or your patient experience. You can expect a response within two days for both medical and customer service questions and you can reply with additional questions if needed.
Current MyChart users and Proxy users will need to re-sign up with the new EHR MyChart. You can find Proxy records on the MyChart page on the Riverwood website, patient access (registration) or nurse.
Patients can request a Virtual Visit through MyChart and MyChart Mobile. Camera and audio must be enabled, and the patient must download Zoom onto their desktop or mobile device. Zoom virtual visit hosting is secure, HIPAA compliant, and does not have access to personal health information or store any transmitted information. Patients can view MyChart using an internet browser or via smartphone, tablet or Smartwatch.
A provider’s office may assign questionnaires for you to fill out prior to a visit. If this happens, you will be sent a reminder six days prior to your visit, and if you have not submitted the questionnaire(s), you will receive another reminder two days before the visit. There are two places where you can find questionnaires to be completed before your visit: 1) If you have an upcoming appointment you will see the appointment on the Home Page. Click eCheck-In and you will be asked to complete the questionnaire(s) during this process. After you have confirmed your information during the eCheck-In process, you will be automatically prompted to complete any available questionnaires for your upcoming visit. You may also select “Your Menu” and click on the questionnaire link(s) to start or continue filling out the questionnaire(s).
