Mya VanNurden, MS, PT, joined Riverwood’s Therapy Services team serving Aitkin and McGregor in January 2026. A local graduate, Mya brings four years of experience as a traveling physical therapist, caring for patients in clinics and hospitals across Minnesota and Florida.
Personal rehabilitation approach: “My approach to care is holistic,” VanNurden explains. “Healing is more than just physical—it’s about supporting the whole person.”
Education/Certifications: She earned both her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica.
Areas of Focus/Expertise: Mya specializes in orthopedic care and dry needling, with a passion for helping patients restore movement and improve quality of life.
