Education/Certifications: AA degree in Respiratory Therapy, Lake Superior College, Duluth, MN; BLS, ACLS and NRP certification.
Experience: Several years of respiratory therapy care at Riverwood in the hospital and clinic settings. Performs a variety of diagnostic testing and treatments for patients undergoing inpatient and outpatient care.
Patient Care: Ventilator and NIPPV management, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary function testing, Holter and event monitor setups, home oxygen assessments, cardiac stress tests, EKG’s, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring setups, newborn congenital heart screening, overnight pulse oximetry monitoring setups and fit testing.
