Physician Assistant Erin Carey provides primary care for patients of all ages at Riverwood’s Aitkin clinic. She has a special focus on gastrointestinal and dietary sensitivities, IBS/colitis, allergies related to food, animals, or the environment, asthma and pulmonary conditions, blood pressure management, joint pain, and growth and sleep disorders in children.
Personal philosophy/approach to medical care: I became passionate about medicine while following my father, a pediatric endocrinologist, on hospital rounds. I loved seeing how he developed relationships with his patients and made them feel comforted. I chose family medicine because I want to build that same kind of connection with my patients and be part of their health journey.
