Jessica Schmiesing, Chief Human Resources Officer
Riverwood Healthcare Center is pleased to introduce Jessica Schmiesing as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and member of its senior management team. She is responsible for the overall human resources strategy, operations, and administration.
Schmiesing grew up in Central Minnesota and graduated from Little Falls High School. She attended Hamline University, where she double majored in Business Management and Psychology and played volleyball and basketball. She received a fellowship to attend the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where she earned a master’s degree in industrial relations.
Schmiesing has an extensive human resources background with over 35 years of progressive experience in a variety of industries from oil and manufacturing to healthcare, higher education, and ag finance. She has certifications in many areas including a Certified Compensation Professional. Her experience leading HR at a non-profit clinical system with 26 rural clinics will be incredibly beneficial as she leads and supports the important work at Riverwood.

Schmiesing will be moving to Aitkin in mid-July and is excited to get to know the Aitkin community and be an active citizen locally.
