Riverwood Foundation will host its annual Healing Garden memorial ceremony on the grounds of Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin on Thurs., June 9, at 4:30 p.m.
There will be a short program to commemorate those who have been memorialized or honored in the garden with flowers, bricks for the walkway, or other items during the past year. Pastor Dawn Houser of the United Methodist Church in Aitkin will do an invocation, followed by musical entertainment by Pat Perrine, Kathy Hakes-Fastner, Jody Slinger and Jill Sadlowsky.
Light refreshments will be served and no RSVP is needed.
The Healing Garden is supported and grows through donations. Memorials and honorariums can be provided through personalized pathway bricks, living flowers, trees and flowerbeds, benches and lampposts. See order form.
