
Jeanine LeBlanc, RN, Director of Nursing, Riverwood Healthcare Center
Riverwood Healthcare Center has selected Jeanine LeBlanc as Director of Nursing for inpatient care.In this role, LeBlanc’s key duties include advocating for hospital patients and nursing staff members, assuring optimal patient care and superior outcomes, collaborating closely with providers to provide care to patients, and assuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and governmental regulations.
“Jeanine is a very talented clinician who brings a strong passion for nursing and patient care to this important leadership role,” said Riverwood CEO Todd Sandberg. “Her long-term dedication to Riverwood and commitment to caring for our community together are tremendous assets for our organization and those we serve .”
With 20 years of experience with Riverwood, and most recently as emergency department manager, LeBlanc has served in multiple roles to support inpatient care. She began her career as an emergency medical tech for Riverwood’s Emergency Department in 1999 and then moved into nursing roles as she pursued advanced education.
LeBlanc earned an LPN degree in 2004 from Itasca Community College, then a RN designation in 2006 from Hibbing Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree in 2013 from the College of St Scholastica.

Growing up in Palisade, LeBlanc has a strong connection with and knowledge of the Aitkin County area. She used her EMT expertise to help establish a First Responders team in Palisade. For the past five years, she has served as captain of Riverwood’s team for the Aitkin County Relay for Life to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. In addition, she works with the area Toward Zero Death organization, sits on the board of the North East Regional Trauma Committee, and teaches CPR/AED training in the community.
Jeanine LeBlanc lives with her husband, Craig, in the Palisade area. They have three adult children and three grandchildren who all live in this area. She loves spending time with her new grandbaby, traveling and exploring new areas.
