Dr. Don Hughes offers the full spectrum of family medicine at Riverwood’s Aitkin clinic. He is also the primary mentor and trainer for medical students who do clinical rotations at Riverwood.
Personal philosophy/approach to medical care: My role is to educate patients to better understand their diseases and illnesses, to be their health advisor and allow them to have an active role in decisions regarding their medical care and disease prevention.
As an Aviation medical examiner, Dr. Hughes performs certifying medical exams for pilots for the FAA.
