Cindy Hauser, a family nurse practitioner and certified urological nurse practitioner for Riverwood Healthcare Center, will now see patients in McGregor.
Hauser, who has practiced in both primary care medicine and urology care for Riverwood for about seven years, has transitioned from seeing patients at Riverwood’s Aitkin specialty clinic to seeing patients at the McGregor clinic. Her practice will be devoted primarily to urology care, assisting with primary care as needed.
Hauser can help patients with diagnosis, treatment and management of urinary tract conditions as well as male reproductive and infertility issues. Common urological conditions include prostate disease, urinary incontinence, kidney or bladder cancers, urinary tract infections and impotence/erectile dysfunction.
With an extensive background in hospital nursing and special training in the care of children and older adults, Hauser is a certified urological nurse practitioner and enjoys working with men and women on urological issues.
Hauser describes her approach to medical care: “I believe everyone has the right to expect high quality health care, delivered by a knowledgeable, compassionate, health care provider.”
Hauser’s education background includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth.
Lifelong residents of the Aitkin and McGregor area, Cindy Hauser and her husband, Jeff, are both graduates of McGregor High School. They have five adult children, including Amanda, Emily, Mary, Abigail and Lucas.
