Riverwood Healthcare Center and Foundation are pleased to announce $34,000 was raised to help support the Zach Johnson Kids with Cancer Fund at Riverwood Foundation during the 2023 golf charity event. The 18-hole golf event, presented by Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, was held on July 14 at Minnesota National Golf Course, McGregor.

This year 104 golfers gathered to enjoy a perfect day of golf with family, friends and colleagues. This event kicked off with a boxed lunch and ended with prizes and a delicious buffet dinner in the dining room.

The first-place prize winner was the Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union team (Joe Reed, Shane Medin, Kyle Berg, and Eric Bolt) with a score of 21 under. Second place team went to the Meyer team (Mark Meyer, Will Meyer, Frank Meyer and Louie Meyer) coming in at 20 under, and third place (winner of the tiebreaker) with a score of 16 under went to Brown and Brown team (Dan Schletty, Tyler Ulseth, Tom Kuppich and Jack Kuppich).

“Special thanks to Minnesota National Golf Course, the golfers, all the wonderful volunteers it takes to host an event like this and to the major sponsors—Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, Riverwood Auxiliary, DSGW Architects, and The Office Shop,” said Paula Eklund-Fisher, Riverwood Foundation coordinator.
