Volunteer helps Ortho clinics run smoothly!
 Gwen Dickey
| |
“Gwen Dickey, Auxiliary member who volunteers with our Orthopaedic Clinic several times/month, is a great #1 volunteer! She really understands the workflow of Ortho check-in, walking the patient over to radiology, having the patient change into shorts, waiting for them to have their images done, and walking them back to the waiting area in PT/Ortho. Gwen understands the entire process, and does an amazing job helping us out! If she was able to train others on exactly what we want, this would help our clinics out tremendously!” – Brianna Brophy, LPN, Specialty/Orthopaedics Clinic
We love to recognize VOLUNTEER efforts @ RHCC! If you have comments about how helpful a volunteer is ongoing or an “above & beyond” one-time incident, we would love to share it. Send your comments to Katie Nelson, knelson@riverwoodhealthcare.org or Arlene Wheaton, awheaton@riverwoodhealthcare.org
We are always looking for more volunteers so if you know someone who may have an interest in volunteering here, contact Katie. See the Fall issue of our community newsletter, Healthy Living, for more on our volunteer needs as well as a cover story on a proven solution for urinary incontinence with Drs. Michael & Rachel Cady, a story on Joel Hyytinen’s successful hip replacement and more.
This issue will mail out to Aitkin County and Garrison/Lake Mille Lacs households Aug. 29.
